Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend our friend Spencer was in town from Texas. Spencer was here on one of the many vacations (Spencer is a big fan of vacation). Spencer being in town was cause for a whole bunch of friends around town to get together. And when Spencer is in town what do we do you ask? Well we do the same thing we always do (we are all creatures of habit). We go to Pat & Oscars for a big group dinner, where, as always, we ordered way too much food. We played FRIENDS Scene-it a couple times (most of the group has a big obsession with FRIENDS, I may be the worst). We went to the Wild Animal Park (this is not something we always do when Spencer comes out) and then had a nice BBQ.

Labor day was a really good weekend. Those of that live here still really need to get together more than just when Spencer is in town. It was a fun weekend!

Ethan meets more relatives

A couple of weeks ago my great Aunt Rachel was in town. Aunt Rachel was my grandmother sister and she lived here in California when I was much younger and when my grandparents lived out of state. I have always thought of her like a grandmother and was so excited to get a chance to see her when she came to visit. This was the first time she and my Aunt Pam (her daughter, dad's cousin) met Ethan. We all had a wonderful time catching up. Here are some photos from the afternoon.
