Ode to Sam

Today Sam moved away from home. Samantha, Amanda's sister, moved to Santa Barbara this morning to pursue a career in photography. We are all so excited to see how much she learns as well as how God will use her talent. It is a big deal that Sam is moving away from home since she spent her entire life in the same home, from 6 months old to 19 years old. We pray for Sam that God will guide her, help her to be feel at home and to find a great church family that will support her. Sami we love you and know you will do wonderful. We will miss you. Good Luck baby sister!!

Home Improvments

A lot of changes have been going on in the DuFour household. Since Chris "officially" started Du4 designs back in August he was working out of our dinning room nook. It is not a big area and things started to get cramped pretty fast. God has really provided for us and Chris is now able to rent an office outside the home. The office needed some remodeling and that took some time, but after a lot of hard work and some help from friends the office looks great. Chris now goes to the office and works just 1o minutes from home.

Now that the dinning nook is free from a large design desk we were able to buy a dinning room table. We are all so excited about the table. I know that sounds cheesy, but it is a big deal to us that we eat dinner together and are able to teach Ethan good eating habits. Not easy to do when you eat on the couch or around the coffee table (fine it was the two of us, not the three of us).
Ethan was excited about the table as well, and he really wanted to help daddy assemble the table. So curious. Those are just a few of the changes that have gone on in the last couple of months. I will do some more updating soon (I promise).
